For those that don’t know what Bushball is…it’s an annual event we organise where we dress up in theme and have a ball. In the bush.

The theme is “Old School” so Saturday evening we will get dressed up in our best old fashioned costumes we can find. Boys, pull out those tweed jackets, corduroy pants, and what ever else takes your fancy.

Ticket Price is $110, so start saving your penny’s

The ticket includes….transport and petrol to and from the venue. All your food for the weekend, including a full course meal on Saturday night. Plenty of drinks for everyone, alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Accommodation for the weekend. All the lighting and sound equipment for an epic night, as well as a live band!

We will be selling tickets beginning of next semester, so tell all your friends and come along for an amazing weekend. After a new and exciting 24hr challange?

May 8th, 2010

You may have heard whispers and rumours about a event called TWALK (not said as tee-walk but twooork)
The event is a 24hour treasure hunt type thing* organised by our noble enemies, the Christchurch Uni Tramping Club (CUTC). here is the official webpage for it:  www.cutc.org.nz/twalk/
You get given a pile of clues then off you go to find them. Racing the 100 odd other people who are also looking for them. This carrys on for 24 consecutive hours. Sounds like fun ya!
Of course being a uni organised event there is costumes involved. Sillier = better. Prizes are awarded for best costume as well as whos actually fittest, fastest and can find the clues.

*Rogaine is the proper word to use.

If this does sound like you then keep an ear out at the meetings. Keep an eye on the email list or you could even contact us via this webpage.
