Kia ora trampers,
Hope you are all getting into the rhythm of the academic semester. I certainly am not..
Our second (& best) trip of the year is next weekend (15th - 17th of March). If you want to get on the trip, you must attend the pre-meeting on Tuesday 12th at 7PM in BURNS 2 LECTURE THEATRE & you also need to have done the OUTC river-crossing training!
The trip will cost $80 and you must bring this in cash or card to the pre-meet as we take payment on the night so we can organise food etc. At the meeting we will provide information explaining equipment you will need for the weekend and what trips are available (there is a range of easy, medium and hard trips).
Quick overview:
- Meet at 5 PM outside OUSA and head to a campsite in Fiordland national park Friday night
- Tramp all of Saturday
- Tramp some of Sunday and return back to Dunedin Sunday night
